Our ServicesIn normal times we hold three regular services on a Sunday (see the list, below) but during the Covid-19 pandemic things have had to change. We are holding a socially distanced 10am Sunday service (usually Common Worship Holy Communion) for which you need to book a seat. On Wednesdays at 10am our Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion service is now socially distanced in church. To join our online Sunday and Wednesday services please go to our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/stpetershale. To book your seat for our Sunday service please email: email@example.com Calendar
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer.
Holy Communion with Sunday School or All Age Morning Prayer
Please join us for refreshments in the Veranda Room, St Peter’s House – exit by the north door (to the right of the baptismal font).
A varied programme through the month, including Choral Evensong, Evening Prayer, informal worship and, four times a year, a Taizé service of singing and meditation
Second Sunday of each month, 11:30am – 12pm, everyone welcome!
There is special provision for children at the 10am service on the first and fourth Sundays of each month. We all start the service together, then our Sunday School meets in St Peter’s House, returning in time for communion.
Toilet and baby changing facilities are in St Peter’s House.
There is a children’s area at the front of church where children can see and hear. Resources, particularly for pre-school children, are available to support families worshipping together.
If you need assistance before or during a service, please speak to our Verger or Wardens who will be pleased to help. We have a loop induction system, please switch your hearing aid to the T position.
If you would like to make an offering during one of our services, please consider making your contribution a Gift Aid donation – envelopes are available at your seat or at the back of church. If you’d like to make a donation online, please click below. You can also set up regular giving.
