Hire a Space

St Peter’s Church offers two community-based buildings for hire. We are delighted to welcome people from across the community to our spaces. All the relevant info you need is below, but feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

St Peter’s Assembly Rooms
134 Cecil Road, Hale, WA15 9NU

At St Peter’s Assembly Rooms, there are three rooms available for hire:

Main Hall

The Main Hall has a wooden floor, curtained stage, and access to the kitchen.

Dimensions: Length 19.2m; Width 7.6m

Capacity: 120 people

The curtained stage area is useful for presentations to audiences, small entertainment productions, music recitals and bands.

Small Hall

The Small Hall has a wooden floor, full air-conditioning and access to the kitchen.

Dimensions: Length 14.6m; Width 7.6m

Capacity: 75 people

Scout Hall

The Scout Hall has a wooden floor, small kitchenette, toilet and baby changing facilities.

Capacity: 20 people

What’s included:

  • Shared access to a large well-appointed kitchen with facilities for self or outside catering. Sole use is only available when booking both the Main and Small Hall.

  • Full accessibility.

  • On site car parking is available for all users at no extra cost. Subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • Tables and chairs.

Please note:

  • We do not allow bouncy castles or inflatables.

  • We do not accept one-off bookings beyond 6pm.

  • Talk to us about regular hire rates (minimum monthly booking – not applicable for ad hoc dates).

  • Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions before confirming bookings.

St Peter’s House
233 Ashley Road, Hale, WA15 9SS

St Peter’s House is across the lawn from St Peter’s Church, on the corner of Murieston Road and Ashley Road.

Veranda Room

The Veranda Room is the largest space available at St Peter’s House, with carpet tiles and stunning views overlooking the grounds of St Peter’s Church. There is a hatch adjoining the kitchen.

Capacity: 50 people

Ideal for larger meetings, training courses and small workshops, etc.

Garden Room

The Garden Room is a flexible space, ideal for smaller meetings and community groups. With wooden parquet flooring. Access to the kitchen next to the Veranda Room.

Capacity: 12 people

Upstairs Lounge

The Upstairs Lounge is a carpeted room with sofas, ideal for one to one’s or a small Bible study group. Due to the stairs, this is not an accessible space.  Access to a kitchenette upstairs.

Capacity: 10 people

Quiet Room

The Quiet Room is primarily used a counselling space for one to one’s.

Capacity: 3 people

There are two armchairs and a desk.

St Peter’s House Chapel

This space is only available under special circumstances, and to only be used for Christian worship as a consecrated space.

Capacity: 20 people

What’s included:

  • Shared access to a good sized and well-appointed kitchen with facilities for light preparation. Sole use is only available when booking both the Veranda Room and Garden Room. The upstairs rooms have access to a kitchenette for hot drinks.

  • Full accessibility for the Veranda Room and Garden Room, with an accessible toilet.

  • Limited parking. Subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • Tables and chairs.

Please note:

  • We do not allow birthday parties at St Peter’s House.

  • Rooms are primarily for the use of the many church-based organisations, groups, committees and societies. However, as part of our ‘Growing Together’ initiative, we welcome enquiries from charities, non-profit and other local organisations about booking rooms at St Peter’s House. The premises is not to be used for financial gain of outside organisations.

  • The upstairs rooms are not easily accessible.

  • Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions before confirming bookings.

How to book

  • Complete the Enquiry Form below (this does not consitute as a booking). We will get back to you as soon as possible within office hours. Please read our Privacy Policy before completing the form to see how we process your data.

  • We will confirm availability (if it is available) and send you the Booking Form and our Terms and Conditions.

  • Complete and return the Booking Form. Ensure you read and agree to our Terms and Conditions before completing the form.

  • Pay the security deposit (£100 for one-off bookings, £200 for regular hire).

  • Full payment (the rate per hour x hours, plus other fees) needs to be made at least 28 days before the booking.

  • Consider it booked!
