Where we meet
We meet as a church family at St Peter’s Church, Ashley Road, Hale on Sundays at 8:30am, 10:00am and 4:30pm. We also have lots of activities and groups throughout the week for all ages! Click here for more info.
How to find us
We have accessible parking on site and there is a large inexpensive car park not far away. St Peter’s is also within walking distance of local bus stops and Hale station. Click here for more information. If you need help getting to church please call us.
What to wear
Wear whatever you like. Some people will dress casually and others will go for a smarter look but we have no dress code, you’re welcome as you are!
Who can come
Everyone. You are welcome at any of our services. Each has a slightly different style, click here to find out more and see which of our services you think would suit you best. The 10:00am service is probably best if you’d like to bring the whole family.
Generous support from members of our congregation and community allows us to keep serving the community. We love being a hub where everyone can come. From baptisms, weddings and funerals, to weekly services or children’s parties, we open our doors to people from across the community.

CHORAL EVENSONG AT A LATER TIME OF 6.30PM
With the evenings now getting lighter (hooray!), Choral Evensong will be at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of the month. The next service will be Sunday 1st May.

Mary Graham will be sharing her experiences of walking the famous Way of St James (Compostela de Santiago).

NEW CARETAKER, STEVEN HARDCASTLE, APPOINTED
We now have a much needed new caretaker for our Assembly Rooms on Cecil Road. Steven comes with extensive experience, having previously worked at St Ambrose School, Hale Barns. He’s already made an excellent start in looking after the building and getting to know our hirers. DONATIONS FOR THE TREE OF LIFE CENTRE, WYTHENSHAWE
We are now collecting clothing for the Tree of Life Centre in Wythenshawe. Please place your donations of clean clothing in the labelled boxes at the back of church. Don’t worry, you can still donate to our various other charities.
The Tree of Life Centre increases the quality of life for low or no-income families and is a lifeline for many in desperate need of clothing, dignity and a sense of belonging.
The Tree of Life Centre accepts all types of clothing, from casual to formalwear, partywear to school uniforms, in any (clean) condition.
SALFORD VAN COLLECTIONS - NEXT COLLECTION IS ON SUNDAY 8TH MAY, BEFORE 1PM
Please ensure all donations are left outside the door at the back of the Assembly Rooms before 1pm on the day of the collection. Salford is accepting clean bedding, warm clothing, and small household items in good condition. Please keep donations in bags to protect against weather.
HALE LITTER PICK, SUNDAY 22ND MAY, 2PM
Meet outside St Peter’s House. All welcome. PLease bring some protective gloves. Refreshments in the Veranda Room from 3.30pm.
TINNED AND DRIED GOODS FOR THE HOPE CENTRE, PARTINGTON
Please place your donations of tinned, dried and packet foods for the food club at the Hope Centre, Partington, in one of the labelled plastic boxes at the back of church. Particularly requested are instant coffee, tea bags, Longlife milk, pasta, tinned meat and tuna, plus tinned rice pudding, fruit and custard. Thank you.

Messy Church is a fresh way of ‘doing church’ through crafts, stories, songs and fun challenges. We’re now meeting back in person in the Veranda Room, St Peter’s House.
