Giving

Each week, when we bring our gifts of bread, wine and money, we pray a prayer of thanksgiving, which highlights the generosity of God, captured by these words: ‘Yours, Lord, is the power, the splendour and the majesty. All things come from you and of your own do we give you’

Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer and give via collection or regular standing order, please make sure you fill in a Gift Aid declaration form. By Gift-aiding your donation we can claim the basic rate of tax back from the Treasury, which increases our income from your gift by 25 per cent, at no extra cost to you.

To return your completed Gift Aid form please attach it to an email and send it to: accounts@stpetershale.org.uk If you prefer to fill out the form manually, please return it completed to: Parish Office, St Peter’s House, 233 Ashley Road, Hale, Altrincham WA15 9SS.

To give to Mission in Action’s fundraising projects, please visit the Mission in Action page on this website for details of its separate bank account.

Be a Part of Making a Change

St Peter’s is fortunate to offer many groups, societies and activities for all ages and all members of the parish and wider community.

Parish churches do not receive central funding or money from the state or other agencies; we are self-financing and rely entirely on the generous donations of households and individuals to continue and develop our church and support poorer parishes by our contribution to the ‘parish share’.

In order to sustain our church life, and grow new initiatives, we rely on regular donations from our church community. Each year 10 per cent of our income is allocated to Mission donations both in the UK and overseas. Last year our Lent and Harvest projects raised money for the Christian charity Tools with a Mission, which sends refurbished tool kits to communities in Africa and the developing world. This year’s Lockdown Project is in aid of The Hope Centre in Partington. Click here to find out how to give directly to Mission in Action.
