Giving
Each week, when we bring our gifts of bread, wine and money, we pray a prayer of thanksgiving, which highlights the generosity of God, captured by these words: ‘Yours, Lord, is the power, the splendour and the majesty. All things come from you and of your own do we give you’Ways to give

Be a Part of Making a Change
St Peter’s is fortunate to offer many groups, societies and activities for all ages and all members of the parish and wider community.
Parish churches do not receive central funding or money from the state or other agencies; we are self-financing and rely entirely on the generous donations of households and individuals to continue and develop our church and support poorer parishes by our contribution to the ‘parish share’.
In order to sustain our church life, and grow new initiatives, we rely on regular donations from our church community. Each year 10% of our income is allocated to Mission donations both in the UK and overseas. Last year our Lent and Harvest projects raised money for the Christian charity Tools with a Mission, which sends refurbished tool kits to communities in Africa and the developing world.
