Job vacancy: Parish administrator/PA to Vicar

St Peter’s Church in Hale seeks to appoint a full-time parish administrator who will also be the PA to the Vicar.

This is a full-time position with 4 weeks holiday plus statutory holidays. The position may involve weekend working which will be paid as overtime or time in lieu.

Salary up to £25K depending on experience.

The candidate will work from dedicated office premises in the Church grounds and will be required to handle all Parish administration and non-pastoral work including taking and managing bookings for all Parish premises.

He/she must have excellent IT skills and be able to work with MS Office, Publisher and Churchsuite programmes. Some knowledge of the workings of the Church of England would be an advantage.

The candidate must be able to use their initiative, keep confidences and be a problem-solver.
