World Leprosy Day

As St Peter’s was closed in January, World Leprosy Day was celebrated rather belatedly on 18 April. After a most inspiring talk from Melissa, cash donations were received in church and a cheque came in later which meant we were able to send £244.49 to the Leprosy Mission in time to meet the 24 April deadline for match-funding from UK Aid. The Leprosy Mission Unconditional Appeal therefore benefited by almost £500 as a result of our efforts. If you would like to learn more, or to donate, visit https://www.leprosymission.org.uk
