Vacancy for a Verger
We are still looking to recruit a new Verger at St Peter’s. If you think this role could be for you, please talk to one of the churchwardens, Lesley or Judy, or contact the Parish Office.
Some of the duties of a verger:
Preparing the church for all services;
Liaising with churchwardens;
Supervising the practicalities of services;
Ensuring stocks of wine, wafers, candles etc. are up to date.
The Verger position could be managed as a job share, so please do consider if it is the role for you.
This is a part-time paid position.
