Anyone who enjoys walking and good company is welcome. Each month there is a walk, normally between 4 and 6 miles, led by a member of the group. The rambles usually take place on a Sunday after the 10am service. Meet at the Assembly Rooms car park, 134 Cecil Road, Hale WA15 9NU
Bring waterproofs, walking boots, a packed lunch and a mobile phone.

Sunday 21 January
The theme this year is ‘Breaking the chains of leprosy’ and will focus on The Leprosy Mission’s work in Niger. Please see the display at the back of church. An informative leaflet is also available for you to take away. Retiring collections will be held after each service on 21 January. If you are a taxpayer, please complete a blue gift aid envelope – this will increase your donation by 25% at no cost to yourself.

Canon David’s many friends from St Peter’s are warmly invited to take part, recognising the long association between the Hale and Salford congregations, represented by the Salford Van Project and, most recently, with St Peter’s support for the rebuilding and re-equipping of the Church of the Ascension, Lower Broughton, David Wyatt’s sister church.
