7:45pmChurch Women's Fellowship
We have various speakers through out the year. After the talk we have coffee and biscuits and socialise with other members and visitors.
We attend the Deanery Advent Carol Service locally, which prepares us for the Christmas season and the coming of Lord Jesus.
In December we hold a traditional Christmas Party with mulled wine and a finger buffet in St Peter's House.
Each year we hold a Ploughman’s Lunch and a coffee . The profit goes to the charity we support that year.
In February we hold our AGM and have a social evening. We also have an outing in June.
We conclude our year with a “Strawberry Tea”, which all members and prospective members are welcome.
The Fellowship at St Peters tries to incorporate its aims during the year, which are fellowship, worship, service, study and giving, enabling us to share many happy and interesting times together.

Saturday 14th October 2017 9:00am - 12:00pmGood As New Sale
We actively fundraise throughout the year, for various charities, our current chosen charity being Ronald McDonald House in Manchester. The fundraising activities have included the bi annual Good As New Sale where you can sell or buy Children's clothes, toys and equipment; summer picnics with raffles; and tea towel with children's handprints. Cash or card now taken. The Good As New sale being the main fundraising event runs in March/April and October every year.

If you would like to get involved with the Good As New (GAN) team please click here to email the Parish Office for further information or call 0161 928 3374. More helpers always needed, full training given.

Confirmation marks the point in your Christian journey where you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized. A short preparation course will start in September. If you are interested in being confirmed by Bishop Dow at this special service on Sunday 15 October 10am then please ask the Vicar.

Held at St Peter's Assembly Rooms
The Men’s Fella-Ship invite you to this year’s ‘Curates Cup’ with a Top Quiz Master and ex St Peter’s Curates for their annual quiz evening: Revd Robin Pye, Revd Paul Deakin, Revd Alan Dawson and our Vicar

Teams of six, if you don’t come as a team we can make teams up on the night.
Church groups are invited to enter as many teams as they want.

Prizes potentially worth thousands of pounds for the winning teams and The Curates Cup.
Tickets (available September onwards from the Parish Office or Bob Bell) £10 per person which includes a Fish & Chip supper from a F+C Van, peas, sauces and condiments.
Note this is a pre-bought ticket event with limited numbers so book your place early.
Bring your own drinks, disposable glasses will be provided.

This is the opening meeting of this new group for both men and women. No membership fees, just pay £2 at each meeting towards expenses. Meetings will be on the last Monday of each month with tea & cake, a speaker and plenty of time for chat. With great good fortune we have Revd Robin Pye as our first speaker.
