Worship with us during on Sundays:

 

First Sunday of every month*
8.30am Holy Communion
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer

10am All Age Holy Communion
A shorter version of the communion service with activities, teaching and music tailored to engage all ages.
There is a special area in church  for young children and their carers. Followed by refreshments in St Peter’s House.

6.30pm Evensong
A peaceful service using the Book of Common Prayer with sermon, prayers, psalms, canticles and hymns.

 

Second Sunday of every month*
8.30am Holy Communion
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer

10am Holy Communion with Sunday School
A service for the whole community - with more adult sermon and prayers. Children (Pre school to Yr 7) meet in church, then go over to St Peter’s House for their own activities teaching and prayer, returning later in the service for communion.

Refreshments in church from 11am before...

11.30am Toddler Service
A simple, short lively and popular service with songs, activities and teaching to engage the under 5s and their families.

6.30pm Choral Evensong
A contemplative service using the Book of Common Prayer with sermon and prayers.

 

Third Sunday of every month*
8.30am Holy Communion
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer

10am All Age Morning Prayer
A shorter service (without communion) with activities, teaching and music tailored to engage all ages. There is a creche area in church  for babies and pre-school children with their carers. Followed by refreshments in St Peter’s House.

6.30pm Holy Communion with Prayer for Healing
Quiet and contemplative communion service, focusing on prayer for individuals and situations in need of healing, with reflective music and brief meditation/homily.

 

Fourth Sundays of every month*
8.30am Holy Communion
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer

10am Holy Communion with Sunday School
A service for the whole community - with more adult sermon and prayers. Children (Pre school to Year 7) meet in church, then go over to St Peter’s House for their own activities teaching and prayer, returning later in the service for communion.

There is a creche area in church  for babies and pre-school children with their carers.

Followed by refreshments in St Peter’s House.

6.30pm Evening Prayer
An engaging service
 using the contemporary language of Common Worship - a variety of music and teaching styles may be used.
This service may sometimes be led by members of the church's youth group.

 

Fifth Sundays of every month*
8.30am Holy Communion
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer

10am Holy Communion with Sunday School
A service for the whole community - with more adult sermon and prayers. Children (Pre school to Year 7) meet in church, then go over to St Peter’s House for their own activities teaching and prayer, returning later in the service for communion.

There is a creche area in church for babies and pre-school children with their carers.

Followed by refreshments in St Peter’s House.

6.30pm Taize Service
A short music lead service with candles and prayers.  More information about Taize can be found by clicking here.

8.30am Morning Prayer
A quiet and contemplative start to the day using the contemporary language of Common Worship, focusing on Bible Reading and Prayer.

Wednesdays (in the chapel of St Peter's House)

10am Holy Communion:
A quiet service with sermon but no music, using the traditional Book of Common Prayer. Followed by refreshments in St Peter’s House.
