The Revd Keith Addenbrooke
I am married to Jane and we have four daughters. Originally from the Midlands, where I grew up in Solihull, I worked as a Chartered Management Accountant and Manager in both industry and the public sector before training for Ordained Ministry at the Queen’s Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education in Birmingham. I have degrees in Management, Globalisation and Development, and Applied Theology, but have given up studying now that my own children are starting to leave home for University too. Jane is originally from Knutsford in Cheshire, and we met when we were students at Warwick University. We were married in Coventry.
I was ordained in Chester Cathedral in 2007, and served on the Wirral from 2007 to 2015, as a Curate at St Mary Upton until 2010 and then as Vicar of St Paul with St Luke Tranmere, where my wife and I developed new Worship Services and ministries alongside established traditional ones.
I am passionate about the relevance of the good news of Jesus for life today, and firmly believes that the Christian faith has much to say in our increasingly complex and fast-paced culture. If you want to know more, do get in touch.
I look forward to welcoming you to St Peter's Hale.
